Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness | Education | Resources | Hope

Positive Matters is a non-profit service charity and educational organization dedicated to helping those with traumatic brain injuries and other disabilities increase independence in the community and improve their quality of life. We offer a wide range of services, resources – and above all, hope – for TBI patients, their families, medical professionals, and caregivers.

The organization was founded by Matthew Thomas, a coma and traumatic brain injury survivor who was initially given a 5% of living. After years of defying the odds (and most conventional medical wisdom), he is now a motivational speaker, DUI lecturer, brain injury consultant, wildlife photographer, body boarder, golfer and hydrobike world record holder.

Matt offers a deeply inspiring perspective as someone who has “been there” and is the driving force behind Positive Matters.
